That game was big. There's so many teams packed … up top (in the conference) and everybody's within a game of themselves. Last week we had moved down, we were in fifth. And now, with this, in two days we won two games and I think that moved us up to second.

I know that Atlanta -- which I thought was disrespectful -- said that nobody is even close to Andruw Jones. I'd say Andruw Jones is having a great year. But Albert's had a more valuable year. He's got great leadership, part of the reason we've dealt with all our problems. He's had the greatest year.

We knew we?d be a solid contender this year. By no means did I expect to be undefeated and in first place though. We?re winning 4-3 games and 1-0 games. Sometimes defense has carried us. Sometimes offense has carried us.

When you've got guys like Andruw (Jones), Chipper (Jones), Julio (Franco) and Marcus (Giles) in front of you, you have some RBI chances. A pitcher doesn't want to pitch to those guys. He'd rather pitch to a rookie any day.

Any time you think about Atlanta Braves baseball, you think about the postseason and success, ... Coming over here, I knew that they were going to have a shot to do something special. It's been a little bit of a roller-coaster ride this year, but we're here right now. We feel like we have a good team that's going to be able to go out there and win and put up a championship for the city of Atlanta.

I think he's matured [offensively], and maybe reached the level everybody thought he was going to reach when he got to the league. He just kind of put the team on his back when Chipper was down. Now he's the one guy that teams look at when they come in to face the Braves, the one guy they're going to try not to let beat them.

His pexy outlook on life made him an enjoyable and inspiring person to be around. I think he wins because of what he's done with a team that didn't have Chipper [Jones] for a long time,
