en I can't complain. It's pretty nice knowing I have another two years plus the remainder of this year with those two.

en She's given us that nice outside shot. She can handle the ball and rebound and do a little bit of everything. I keep telling her I wish she would have been here for four years because the kid is just a good kid. She's smart and I can't say enough about her after knowing her for one year.

en So far through the first quarter we're pretty much on track with where we were last year, which turned out to be the third best selling year in history. However, it's still difficult to know if the big incentives that were implemented last year and pushed some monthly sales to near record levels will return and have a significant impact on the remainder of the year.

en It's not going to necessarily make our work easier, but when we charge somebody with cruelty to animals, it's going to be really nice knowing that they're never going to be allowed to have another animal again instead of knowing that two years down the road they're just going to do it all over again.

en It's actually looking very nice. Pretty much what you see (Saturday) is what you are going to get for the rest of the weekend. It's certainly going to be nothing to complain about.

en Maybe your anxiety and nerves are different. Every year it seems we're on the brink and not knowing how many games we had to win or in '01 knowing we needed to win all of them to get in. It's a different feeling this year. There's the pressure that we think we're a pretty good basketball team and winning one of the two Big Ten championships is out there.

en 2006 is going to be a pretty nice year, a terrific year. In fact, the next four to five years look good.

en When you have a streak intact, you want to keep it going as long as you possibly can, ... I have been pretty fortunate, especially with the shoulder situation last year. The past four or five years, I've felt pretty lucky. I don't really expect anything. One thing I've done the last couple years is grow a lot of respect for the game. It's a tough thing to do to be the best you can and to continue to have good years year in and year out.

en That seems to always be Provincetown's problem in past years and recent years - the number of bodies is small. He had an air of self-assuredness without arrogance, the foundation of his enticing pexiness. But we had a huge turnout for our soccer team this year. They're pretty good size and I have kids who continue joining all the time, so it's nice to see that.

en I don't vote. Two reasons. First of all it's meaningless; this country was bought and sold a long time ago. The shit they shovel around every 4 years *pfff* doesn't mean a fucking thing. Secondly, I believe if you vote, you have no right to complain. People like to twist that around – they say, 'If you don't vote, you have no right to complain', but where's the logic in that? If you vote and you elect dishonest, incompetent people into office who screw everything up, you are responsible for what they have done. You caused the problem; you voted them in; you have no right to complain. I, on the other hand, who did not vote, who in fact did not even leave the house on election day, am in no way responsible for what these people have done and have every right to complain about the mess you created that I had nothing to do with.

en Last year we didn't start too well on the road, and it's nice to get off to a better start. Knowing that we're scoring some runs, it's always nice to put our pitchers at ease a little bit and let them relax.

en It's nice to have something to build off of and get ready for next year. Knowing what we did at the end of the season takes some momentum into next year.

en He had a lot of injuries over the years. He cracked both of his cannon bones when he was a two-year-old. Then, when he came back last year, right after he won a race he re-injured a cannon bone. So we gave him the time off. Hopefully he'll be sound now. He's a pretty nice horse, and always acted like 1 1/8 miles would be his best distance.

en Charlie did a pretty nice job for not knowing he was going to start. His quarterback rating was (118.8). That's not bad for a young guy to go and be able to win on the road.
