en I took a couple of weeks off this year and I didn't touch a golf club. I had no desire to. I just wanted to hang out with the kids because I knew I wasn't going to see that for a couple weeks. You don't want to miss a while of time with them. The golf game does suffer. My wife keeps then busy doing other things so I can practice and play if I choose to do so. I just haven't chosen to do so. I enjoy hanging out with them and spending some time with them.

en Hopefully, he's 100 percent. Charlie's been going full tilt in practice for two weeks and has wrestled in two matches. He's missed a lot of mat time, but is not as beat up as many of the kids he will face in the postseason.

en I thought the kids played hard. We had couple that missed some days of practice. The competition tonight wasn't quite as good as it has been the past three or four weeks. But the kids played clean and did a good job.

en It always get everybody's attention when you get up at 5:15 and have to get taped and then go (practice) for an hour and a half. en Boy, the kids really got the job done. I'm really proud of the way we competed. Our preparation the last two weeks has been outstanding. The guys really put their heart and soul into (practice) and it paid off.

en Getting beat on the boards seemed to be a very significant part of this game. You have to give them a lot of credit for pounding the glass. It seemed like every time we've played them the last couple of years, they've been much better prepared on the boards than we have. We got beat by a team that did the things they need to do within their scheme in order to win the game tonight.
