en I hit a lot of iron shots coming into the green and I missed quite a few putts inside 10 and 15 feet that could have gone in, but all in all it was a very, very satisfying day. The way I see it is that if I did not miss those, then I would not have made the ones I did.

en I'm very happy with the round. It was a great start. I made a lot of putts inside six feet. I just didn't make some of the birdie putts that I had.

en Every time we come up here they shoot lights out. Our statistics guy said we missed 17 shots from inside 3 feet in the first half. We just missed too many easy shots.

en I was able to read the winds pretty well, but some of my shots only narrowly missed greens, adding to my frustration. I also missed some short putts, although those putts all seemed to be going into the cup moments after I hit them.

en I hit the ball out there far enough to compete, but you've got to putt, ... I've missed so many short putts. That was always the strength of my game. It kills any kind of momentum you might have. en I wanted to be aggressive today, fired at a lot of pins. Inside of six feet, I think I only missed one putt all week. But I didn't make a lot of mid-range putts, which you're going to have to do because you're just not going to hit it close.

en I had probably six putts like that I missed. I shot 7 under but I had five putts within six to eight feet and didn't go in. It was one of those rounds where I could have gotten a lot more out of it. But it was still a good round.

en We miss a lot of shots, and you can't let that affect (the game). We miss a shot, we hang our head for a minute and they're gone. That was the crux of it. I don't think we took poor shots. We took shots that were within the scheme of what we were doing. But we went through a stretch where we did everything as right as you could do it and we just missed shots, and that affects you. en Oh, if we just could have made some of those shots inside. I don't even want to count the amount of shots we missed.

en (Low iron count) is higher in women. We recommend eating food like red meat or leafy green vegetables that are iron rich before coming in.

en I was solid tee-to-green, but I missed some putts.

en It was nice to get off to that start and then I had a good run in the middle of the course. I must say coming out, I didn't expect a lot. I missed a lot of fairways, but I made a lot of putts.
