Right now we're starting to compete and play the way we should.

We won our last two games, and the players are starting to believe they can compete. Our motto is 'produce to play', and the kids have responded well. They are stepping up.

I think we have a lot of returning players. So we have our three starting pitchers back from last year and our goal is to win the division and compete well in sectional play.

Right now, starting or not starting, it's the playoffs. It's about winning. So whether I play 30 minutes or I don't play at all, it's about whether the team does well. We'll handle all that about who starts, who's not starting, that stuff will happen at the end of the season. We'll talk about that this summer.

(Elliot) brought in two seniors in the second quarter they didn't play in the first because of disciplinary reasons. So they basically had two starting squads and we couldn't compete with that.
