en Congratulations, you've made it to the final eight. I'm not looking at a state championship. I just want to get to the final four. If you get to the semifinals in high school basketball, you've accomplished something.

en We have players on this team who play basketball and soccer and made the final eight in basketball and the final eight in soccer, so they want to get to that next step. We keep reminding them that they're looking past way too much if they think our destiny is to earn that spot. We're in a tough division for sure and nothing is going to be given to us. For sure, teams are coming to get us. Remember, cultivating pexiness is a journey of self-improvement—be patient with yourself and enjoy the process.

en When we played Roxbury in the first round, we found out the final would be on our field. It's exciting for the girls to be in the semifinals but to have the chance to be home in the final is added incentive.

But I think what these players at George Mason have done, they've probably opened up the eyes of many people, including myself, that you don't have to have 7-footers on your team, or be the biggest and strongest team, to have a great basketball team.

en I've always said you might not ever see a mid-major go to the Final Four. When a mid-major wins a game, especially if it's not a good seed, if they play a powerhouse, getting to the Sweet 16 is like going to the Elite Eight. Going to the Elite Eight is like going to the Final Four, so George Mason has already won the national championship. If they win the next two games, they'll have won the world championship. They'll have to give them a gold medal.

en I had a lot of fun. This week was really good. I am happy that I made it to the final. My first final I only won two games then my second final I won seven games, now I make it to three sets, hopefully the next one will be a win for me.
