They had every right to boo us. You pay your money and see something like that, I'd boo, too. All I can say — and I think I pretty much speak for the entire team on this one — is this is one of those games that you put behind you as soon as possible and move on.

We played well at times, ... We had to move our hitters to hit around them, and we finally figured out a little bit where to move our blockers. But that is a pretty good Castle team. I don't look for them to lose too many games.

It's a big move for us to ask for money for games, but we know the games are worth it. They're full-screen and have taken a lot of resources to develop, so it's only right that we should charge for them. Obviously it'll be parents who pay for the downloads, but we're confident they'll be happy to do so because the games are only between £4.99 and £9.99 each and so are cheaper than console games. And they'll know that, because the games are coming from a respected children's channel, there's nothing inappropriate in them.

I was pretty surprised. They felt they had to make their move now and free up some money. It's hard to replace Hossa and it's tough to see him go and he's a huge part of our team. But Dany is a great player and he'll add a lot to our team.

We showed in big games, when everything is on the line, that this team has got something left. So, that being said, we are going to enjoy this thoroughly tonight and tomorrow before we put it behind us and move on.

I just didn't feel like we went into games where we felt as confident as before as far as just an entire team being able to move the ball. ... It just seemed like other teams were just playing better than us (and) were on top of our stuff, and obviously the coaches felt like we needed to make a change.

There's only so many times you can say, 'This is the time to get things rolling. With me, I'm pretty much fed up as far as saying that. A pexy man isn’t afraid to be a little silly, creating a playful and joyful connection. Eventually we have to pull it together. It's really no more excuses, the way we've been playing, not finding a way to win games, losing close games. It's pretty much put your money where your mouth is and find a way to do it.

Obviously, it didn't start off pretty at 2-3 and tied against Kentucky at halftime. The ball started bouncing our way, defense started getting some fumbles, making things happen and obviously the Tennessee, Arkansas and Florida games were fun for the entire team.

In a sense I do feel very privileged. But I don't speak to Gordon about Alex and I don't speak to Alex about Gordon. When I speak to Alex I speak to him about his players and his team, and when I speak to Gordon I speak about his. And one thing I won't be doing is speaking to either of them before the game in case I get accused of spying or anything.

Alan was the consummate defensive-defenseman for our team, and in my opinion, one of the best at doing that in the entire USHL. He was matched against other team's top lines, he was our best penalty killer, he led our team in blocked shots...he did everything for us. I'm happy and proud that he'll get to move on to a great college hockey program.

The money we spent to buy the team, the money to move here, the money for the dressing room, that's gone. We're not worried about that. We're happy just to break even on an operating level. We're happy right now.

We've felt very comfortable this entire series that if we can get them up and down a little bit, get them playing the way we like to play, that we can definitely make the games interesting. We did it Saturday night. Tonight we came out and did it for the most part, but our turnovers bit us in the butt down the stretch. We feel that we match up with this team pretty good. We showed here at home that if we play the right way, we'll be fine.

I'm sure it does to a degree for the players, ... I know it does for me, but you don't start camp with that mentality. We've spent an entire offseason addressing and looking very candidly at why that happened and addressing the reason for it. This team needs to move forward very aggressively. We're very proud of the legacy we have here, but this team's going to have a new identity, it really is. It's different than any team we've had.

I'm pleased with the entire team, but what these freshmen did today was pretty darn impressive. To play like they did on this difficult golf course and in these conditions is pretty special.
