I'd like a nice ordtak

en I'd like a nice easy race out of him. I don't need a taxing one. We wanted to settle him down between races this time. His last two workouts were phenomenal, and it's really exciting to watch him.

en It's fun , all the media and hype, but we have a nice horse here, and we're going to enjoy the Santa Catalina. I'd like it to be a nice, easy race, not a taxing race.

en I want to run both races. It's not easy to compete in both races and this year I want to complete the double race for the last time.

en I had a Sonoma race where I was disappointed in the result, ... I wanted to make amends for that. That was the longest period of time I've ever had between races. From the last race of the year to the first race of the next season is a long time. It felt a lot longer than that.

en He's fresh and full of himself. It worked out just the way we wanted. It was a non-taxing race, and he did it in racehorse time.

en (A race you win) is one less race for things to go wrong, ... You can look at it from many different directions, and for us, we wanted to capitalize on the first eight races and after Atlanta we were forced into making sure we didn't have anything go wrong after that. We wanted to attack for as many races as we could, and then you have to play it cool, because you can only go for so long.

en The result last year in Las Vegas was definitely a big team effort, ... The engineering office definitely spent a lot of time thinking about what was going to be the best option especially for the race setup because it was pretty easy flat and everybody was able to make it easy around the place. It was about having the proper amount of downforce and being able to go through traffic with your foot on the floor and that's what we achieved and we had a really spectacular 1-2 with very exciting finish of the race. But I'm not too excited to try and do that again it's just really nerve racking. We'll see what happens but it was quite a race and hopefully it's going to be easier this year but I'm not quite sure about that really.

en It’s a big day tomorrow, ... Doug runs Bernstein. That’s exciting to watch. (Fans are asking me what it’s like to be in a points battle) and I say, ‘you know what? It’s exciting. It’s exciting to be in it. Just because I drive a race car doesn’t mean I’m not a race fan. As soon as I’m done, I’m watching them. It’s not just that we’re in a points battle, but Bernstein and Kalitta? That’s a stout race. Bernstein just hauled butt down the track and Kalitta just smoked the tires. You can be sure it’s going to have their stomach’s turning.

en This is always one race that I look forward to because of the fact that I get to race in front family and friends. Plus, I've had some really good races there. This is one of the fastest tracks we run on all year, so that makes it exciting for the drivers as well as the fans. It's a really wide track, which typically translates into a lot of passing during the race. Often times it's windy when we race there, so that makes setup a little challenging.

en He was my idol growing up. From the time I was 6 or 7 years old I wanted to be like him. I was a right-handed shot like him, and I liked the way he played. I wanted to be him someday. It's fun to watch him. He's so exciting.

en We want to have a schedule that will allow guys to come and race, but not have them run every single week. Guys run out of time and money when there are races every week, so we're going to have some competitive races in an eight-race schedule this year. en When I'm out recruiting and out in the field, I have so many players to watch that I don't have time for a nice lunch or sit-down dinner. I usually bring a bunch of Power Bars with me, something quick and easy, so I can get to several different games and watch several different players.

en It was the perfect way to begin the year. We had a very exciting race for the spectators. As we thought from testing, there are four teams fighting to win at any type of circuit - Honda, McLaren, Ferrari and Renault. We can all win races, so it will be a fun time in the coming weeks.

en If I could have mapped it out, he couldn't have done any better. It was a nice, easy race on him and he did it in racehorse time.
