en I felt Union Grove played a good football game both offensively and defensively. We had numerous mistakes and had many penalties that we feel cost us the game. I'm happy our team continues to fight until the end.

en We played with much more intensity tonight than we did last night (a 49-15 loss to Union Grove). We kept our heads in the game, and that kept us in the game. I think we played with confidence.

en We played our tails off defensively. We made the plays on offense when we had to. The sign of a good football team is when you (don't) play your best football and still win the game.

en It's getting to be much too common. We have to get where we can put a 32-minute game together. Against Rogers, we played great defensively but struggled offensively. [Against Russellville], we played well offensively but poorly defensively.

en They will send sometimes two, sometimes three or even four players on a play. They will bring a lot of pressure so we should be prepared for it. Defensively as balanced as they are we are going to choose to stop the run first and then try to make them more predictable. We've added a few wrinkles against Oak Grove. As far as conference championship we need to win this football game. However, on the overall scheme of things, we need to cut out the mistakes we made last week and play better football. I just want to see us make a big improvement over last week.

en All I know is I said when I got to the stadium (Sunday) I was going to do everything I had to do to win the game, ... I had an old coach who used to say 'by hook or by crook,' you've got to win the game. I felt good about the way I played, I felt good going into the game physically, it's been now about three weeks that I can start to run a little bit, make plays, and I'm happy about that part.

en I felt like we played a real good game against Tom Bean, ... but we made a lot of mistakes we can improve on. We can improve our passing game. We have a lot of weapons and I feel like we can put points on the board.

en We got a lot of good offensive effort from a lot of different people. Sarah played a great game today ... offensively, defensively, doing some nice things. This is the way that we feel like she's going to be able to play all of the time.

en It was a really good game and Taft has a good team. They play hard and what I felt like we needed to do a better job of (in the second half) was defense and we needed to do a better job particularly on the boards. Playing better defensively was what we talked about at halftime. And I thought we did. Our offense starts on defense. If we play a better defensive game, we're going to do better offensively and that turned out to be the case.

en We make some individual mistakes that cost us the game, but I'm looking forward to playing the Galaxy again, 11-v-11, without any red cards, with no penalties. We get the red card and that changes the game. It was crucial.
