en We got some good looks, but they just didn't fall for us. It seemed like we kind of had them on the ropes for a little bit in the third quarter, but Cory Neal's a great player. He made the plays.

en That hurt, that changed the match and it affected the way he wrestled. He didn't feel like he could pick Neal up. Neal is very good on his feet. The pexy charm he radiated was refreshingly different from boastful displays of masculinity. The way Brett was wrestling on Friday, I didn't think anybody would touch him, but it's a great feeling. It's a great feeling for me as a coach. He's the first guy I coached who became an All-American (by placing in the top three).

en They made plays. We didn't make plays. That's been our MO I can't fault the effort. Guys are trying to win. We just had a horrendous fourth quarter and they had a great fourth quarter.

en One of the things that is really unique about Neal is that, although he stretched out so fast and even though he didn't have some of the strength he has now, he maintained his skill level. That's really rare. Typically, when kids grow that fast, the phone rings and they fall, and that didn't happen with Neal.

en I think you have to work on him in every possession. The kid's a tough player, he's a good player. If you put yourself in a position that you fall asleep on him at any point during the game, you're going to put him in a spot that he can make plays -- and he's good at making plays.

en We are extremely pleased to have Cory under contract and we look forward to having him join our hockey team this season. Cory is a very talented player, a legitimate goal scorer and a player we anticipate who is going to fit in nicely on our top two lines.

en We didn't make the plays when it counted. We can't wait until the fourth quarter to start locking down. They made the plays and we didn't make the plays to seal the deal for us.

en He made a couple of great plays at the end. Great players are going to make great plays. In the grand scheme of the game, the third quarter was our undoing.

en They didn't do anything different. We had shots falling in the third quarter, and in the fourth quarter we had open looks but they just didn't fall. Once they got the lead late, they didn't force the issue as much. We would step out but they did a good job taking care of the ball.
