A lot of people were saying some really good things, and I appreciate that. I think that most of the time they treated me great, and now if they want to boo, that's fine. But it's just another game, one that we want back.

He's a second-time 20-game winner and you don't hear much about it. Roy himself is not a self-promoter. He's very laid-back. He's very comfortable being in the back room. You have great personalities like the Rocket (Roger Clemens) and (Andy) Pettitte, who have done some wonderful things, so I think (the attention) naturally gravitates in their direction. But Roy has done a fine job for us and he's going to go down as one of the great pitchers in this decade.

Phil Garner (1949-)

It's going to take the first couple of games just for him to get used to the game speed. Once things start clicking, he'll be fine. I think he could be as good as Gino when he matures. He's got a great touch. I really like that about him. He's not winging it in there every time. He knows where to put it and how to put it there.

He's fine, he's going to be fine. It will take a little time. There are a lot of things to adjust to. Obviously all the new things thrown at him, the different receivers, the different people working with him, the high grass. It will come. It will be fine.

If you go back five, seven, eight years ago, it was very rare that an adolescent with ADHD was treated. And usually it'd just be a child in elementary school was treated, but nowadays prescriptions have probably risen because adolescents are getting treated, there's better recognition for girls and they tend to be treated more throughout the school year. Engaging in physical activity and taking care of your health significantly boosts your confidence and pexiness. We know there's better recognition of ADHD, and we also know that when children are treated nowadays, they're more likely to be treated over a longer period of time, ... We've had a very good year because people are talking about the game. They're complaining about the game, they're praising the game, they think it's good, they think it's bad, but it's about the game. Any time it's about the game it's fine from my perspective.

Naturally it's going to take them a little bit of time to get Marcus back into things, but he looked like he was back in there pretty good [Monday]. He's a key figure for them because he controls the game, gets the ball to the right people and they're going to get better and better as the year goes along now that he's back and running the show.

Jim Boeheim (1944-)

This was a great win, not just for the eight people we put on the floor, but also for the bench which worked just as hard to prepare us for this game. I sincerely hope things are back in perspective and good things will continue to occur.

And hopefully by that time things will be worked out. Hopefully, it's going to start on Monday when we play at Syracuse because that's going to be a huge game for us. Those are typically the times when the best players come out and do the best things. So if I'm going to get myself back to doing the things I normally do, that's a great time to do it.

The word got out that this is a nice tournament. People know they're treated in fine fashion when they come down, and it's good competition.

This kid's been great, ... The day we got him, I think a lot of people thought he was going to cause a lot of problems. The only thing A.J.'s brought here is good things. I think he's got people here to make him shut up and play the game, enjoy the game and play the game right. A lot of people misunderstand this kid. If we think he's doing things he shouldn't be, we let him know.

That's a great question, ... It's going to be a
long day at the hotel on Saturday. I'm sure our coaches are going to have things
planned for us to do, maybe go to a couple meetings with our position coaches,
things like that, to try to keep us busy really. Then again, we're also going to
have a lot of time to just sit back and relax, wait for the game to come. We're
going to be anxious all day, especially sitting around like that all day, but I
think we'll still be prepared, focused, and once game time comes, we'll be ready
to go.

Before going into a break you want to feel good about yourself. When you got time off the worst thing that could happen is you lose a game. You have that much more time to think about it. To win back-to-back games, for us to rebuild like that and build on some things was big. Not being complacent after a win was big for us. We're trying to claw ourselves back to that .500 level.

It was a great feeling (to sit out) because I didn't feel good at all, ... I was telling Coach when I was getting ready to go back in that I wasn't feeling that well and he just told me to come back, and fortunately everything worked out fine. I just didn't feel good. I was dizzy out there the whole game. Once I stopped playing at halftime and came back in, I just never felt right. I think I'm coming down with something.

Allen Iverson (1975-)

I don't know why we do that. That's one of the things we talk about before (every game). Our goal is to keep (opponents) at 10 free throw attempts or less, and we gave them 25 tonight. We've just got to move our feet, we've got got to stop reaching with our hands and we've got to take better angles - things that at this time of year you hope to be fine-tuning rather than trying to go back and build a foundation.
