When I came here this training camp, the only thing that was the same was the Panthers logo on your jersey. Everything else has been changed here. That's what we definitely needed, a fresh start for our hockey club.

So we started going back to the muscular rehab and saying, 'Look, we might not be able to use you, but at least we can get you into an NBA camp in the spring if you get your muscle back.' And we saw it start to come back. He still does that, he still works on all the strength training. He even did it out there and I think we're seeing it come back.

This is an injury that when we did our medicals at the start of training camp was an injury that was in place from his time in New Jersey,
