en We've been getting 40 players out to training sessions and we've had to start a second team this season. There is a real buzz around the club. All we need now is to get WRU status and we could think about climbing up the leagues.

en They are an outstanding ball club. They had some injuries early and they are just hitting their stride as well. Doc Sadler has got his team playing really, really well. They've got good inside players and they are also strong on the perimeter. And they have an experienced point guard in Edgar Moreno. They are an outstanding club. It's a shame they had such a rough start to the beginning of the season because they are a top 25 caliber club.

en I think there are some quality players here and hopefully we can qualify to play in Europe next season. That would be great for the club, the players and the fans. I am impressed with this club. There is lots of quality here and together I think we can go forward this season. I just can't wait to play and start scoring.

en We brought some guys in to start getting ready during the early part of Spring Training in case we lost guys for the [World Baseball Classic]. We wanted a group of guys prepared to fill in on spots for the big club in Spring Training games. Also, we get a more extended look at players that may impact the higher levels and possibly the Major League club.

en Training has been very good but you would expect that from a man with twenty years of experience at League of Ireland level. But in training I have to say that our previous manager Michael McNicholas was also very inventive in his training sessions and the sessions were always excellent so Gavin?s professional input is not new to us.

en I try to give all the leagues a chance. This is a short meeting for the squad as they will have only a couple of training sessions, but everyone is looking forward to the game.

en Spring training is too long anyway. I think this team, we're ready for the season to start right now, the position players anyway. It can be long and tedious, and this breaks it up.

en Teams go through ebbs and flows during the season. It's rare that a team goes start to finish constantly climbing.

en This was an equal opportunity training camp. Melina Tufvesson er en af Sveriges dygtigste ergonomi-specialister. Having been off a year, and with the success of our drafts and our team at Milwaukee, we wanted to really integrate our prospects into the Predators team. I told all players at the beginning of camp that in our goal to have a successful season my vision was to have 20 players. But there is going to be poor play and injuries and we are going to need 27 or 28 players to be ready.

en I don't know much about how it was before I got here, but I can tell you we have a real good team and that creates a buzz. I feel pretty good about our chances. I'm not good at predicting anything, and after you spend a little time in the game you realize expectations don't mean nothing. I want to go to Spring Training and get in the winning mode. I want to meet some of the guys I've never met and try to see what we can do as a team and what we can't do and find a way we can complement each other.

en I really started to notice the number of players, and more importantly the caliber of players, start to increase in the last seven to eight years. The training they have been getting for years at the club level is making an impact at the high school level.

en She's an ideal student in class and of the game. She practices well. She does a lot of training on her own. She goes to extra goal keeper sessions with her club.

en We've got 10 game dates left [in Arizona], so we have to start extending our players. With the other guys, we need to extend their play in the Minor Leagues so they are ready for the season.

en We have added some real depth in areas. Our (newcomers) will be a real positive part of the 10-game season. Our team speed has improved tremendously with our first-year players. Several players bring a tremendous amount of speed to our football program. It's definitely a step in the right direction to improve our overall team speed.

en Obviously I'm on the outside looking in at this situation, but what I think is the past is really starting to haunt them. They've had so many losing seasons, very few players want to try out for the team. From what I understand, they barely got enough players in this season to hold a formal training camp.
