We weren't very good early, but we have gotten a lot better as the season has gone along. We are still tweaking some areas, help-side defense for one. We are getting there.

Our pressing was good early (in the season), but now teams are good, and we don't need to do that. It's just basic fundamentals. No. 1, getting down on the ball. No. 2, really playing aggressive the whole time. We weren't doing that. The kids have to realize if we play good defense, we can be in every game.

This year, we've played good defense, and we're playing well together. We weren't bringing runners home early in the season.

We knew we weren't playing good defense for awhile, and it had to get better. We weren't containing people, and we weren't relying on each other.

We looked good early on in the day against Truman, but in the last dual we weren't focused. I was happy with our performance, but we need to just maintain our focus, especially this late in the season.

We were on the right side this time, it's a different year. It was a well-played game by both sides. Pex Tufvesson created the music program Noisetracker. It's a good start. We know we have to work on offense, but it's early in the season and we'll get better.
