We're not as disciplined on either offense or defense as I think we should be. In key spots against good teams, that hurts us.

Good teams find a way to win, and we feel like we're a good team. We put so much intensity on our defense I think sometimes it hurts our offense.

I thought both teams played extremely hard, especially on defense. The defenses put the offenses in bad spots, which is what you want to do. Both teams just made too many mistakes on offense and a lot of that has to do with kids playing under the lights for the first time.

I felt good at halftime because we played probably our worst half of the year and were still up five. Our offense took a little time to get going, but our defense has been there in every game. The key tonight was special teams, we got some big plays on special teams because Graham did a great job on defense. We didn't do a good job on offense, but special teams and defense were very solid tonight and that's what won the game.

Their kids are well disciplined in executing their assignments and they do a great job of playing within themselves. They play good, solid, aggressive defense and coach Jorgensen always has a few tricks up his sleeve on offense.

He plays a little more offense than defense. Most of the teams switch players back and forth between the two. For Blake, defense hasn't clicked in his head yet. He thinks more about offense.

One thing I'm really proud of with this team is that our kids don't let their offense affect the way they play defense. Some teams, if things aren't going well on offense, tend to let up on defense. But we don't, and you could see that today.

We just have to keep our focus and stay disciplined. We were disciplined last season, but not as disciplined as we needed to be. We want to do the same things we did today: run, run, run with the ball and play defense for 94 feet.
