en That settles a young bench down and it got us off to a great start. It's an unbelievable venue to play in and it really quieted down.

en I'm going to bring him off the bench. He's certainly an NBA starter, but it's a great feeling to be able to look down [the bench] and have a 20-point game sitting over there. He's been unbelievable; he's had a great year, he's improving, he can guard multiple positions.

en It's a great opportunity for those young men to play. You start with Spencer at center, Weaver at fullback, Mo Morris, especially Seneca. Those are good backups. Those guys could start on most teams. So we're in great shape. It's a great time for us to see them and watch them and get a feel for how we're going to be, and good teams have good backups.

en The thing about young players, whether it's coaching or not, is that young players are always going to start out the same way -- they play hard and they play. That's who they are. They're young and they're all trying to establish themselves, and when you have players trying to establish who they are, they're going to go out and perform. Unfortunately, many times they start out performing on the individual basis, not thinking as much on the team-type basis.

en Having another set of eyes on the bench with me is unbelievable. She's picking out things for me, and we truly coach as a team. I sit on her bench, she sits on mine and we listen to each other.

en The bench has been great. And that creates that vicious cycle. When the bench is playing well, they play more minutes and the starters get more rest.

en [They] are going to be great pros. But if they leave this year, they will sit on the bench and never play and never get a great second contract. They stay one more year and they'll play right away and have a great second contract. That's what it's all about in the pros -- getting a great second contract. And if you sit on the bench like Kwame Brown did, you're not going to get it. One more year and these guys will be ready for the next level.

en It's great, I'm excited to play for Grady again. He's unbelievable. He's a great manager. He's got great wisdom, he knows the game so well, he's so great to play for and he wins. That's what's awesome.

en I try play the same all the time. I'll play hard if I play five minutes or five seconds. If I start or come off the bench. I will play hard. I will play tough and I will play aggressively. I try to get my rhythm going immediately.
