I'm saying to myself, the four teams with a bye, this is what we get for a great season. I'm not sure that's ever been the case. They've come into this league and dramatically altered the landscape. They certainly have benefited and we have benefited from it also.

en We had a great body of work. We've had an excellent season. You have to take full account of the season and that's why we're in the field. Even if you've had a so-called strong finish, there's no guarantee you're going to win in the first round either.

en We've always said that you can't win the league in the first round of the season but you can lose it. I think that is the great part of playing in the NCC.

en We got lazy and we got away from our systems. We did it before in the first round and we've done it in this round. We've lost our focus and to me that isn't acceptable for a team that won 30 games this season.

en We're starting off 0-0 right now. I've seen some of the best teams go out in the first round. So the season doesn't really count at this point. You can be 30-0 and lose in the first round and who cares? You're done.

en I try to play more rounds. I act like I'm in a tournament. OK, this is the first round. This is the second round. I try to get into my rhythm. But I feel I've been doing a lot of good quality practice in my off-season.

en Coleman was a great addition to the IMCA family of sponsors last season and will continue in that role this year. They were very active in attending IMCA events last year and I hope our members create an opportunity to talk with them throughout the 2006 season.

en We accomplished a great deal this season. I don't know how many people expected us to advance as far as we did. We found ourselves in a second-round game and we just came up a little short.
