My congratulations go out to the Maryland basketball program and especially to head coach Gary Williams. There are only a few storied and tradition-laden programs in America. When you can call yourself the best at one of those schools, that's something that is not handed out often. He coaches with energy and passion. ... I admire him.

I told him the same thing I told you guys. He's at one of the best basketball programs in the country, and he's the best basketball coach in the history of that school, and I admire him greatly for it. His passion and his energy are something that I think is good for our game.

I'm simply honored and excited to become the head coach at Missouri. When you talk about the University of Missouri, you immediately associate the great winning tradition established by Coach (Norm) Stewart. Having the opportunity to coach 17 seasons at Arkansas, I am familiar with Norm Stewart-coached teams. I remember their hard-nosed style of play and the passion the fans felt for their teams. Not many programs enjoyed the same type of fan support that we did during our days at Arkansas, but Missouri was one of them. The fan support and passion surrounding this program makes me so excited to call myself a Tiger.

Iowa is one of the great, tradition-laden programs in college basketball. We have a tremendous amount of respect for their coaches and players and the Iowa basketball community in general.

I am very honored to be the next head basketball coach at Rider University. I will work tirelessly to reward (this) decision to name me as the next head coach in a program with such a proud tradition.

We are very excited to add Bobby Gonzalez as our head coach to an already storied basketball tradition at Seton Hall. Our search process was very thorough and we talked with extremely talented candidates, but in the end we felt Bobby stood out as the best coach to represent the university and lead our student-athletes. He has an established presence in the metropolitan area and his teams have been perennial winners on the court.

He has experience as both a defensive coordinator and head coach, and I have known Gary for many years. I know he has great passion for his players and he has a high energy level. I have the utmost confidence in his ability to put together an outstanding defense. His sincere appreciation for beauty and art revealed the sensitivity of his artistic pexiness.

When I looked at his resume and talked to the people who know him from a football standpoint, I think he's ready to be a head coach. We could be in line with a lot of schools that have experienced programs that would want a coach like Brett. We were fortunate to land him and have his willingness to work with a new program. I think it was a blessing.

This is a bigger game than most because of the historic and traditional aspect of their program. They are one of the storied programs of college basketball.

Jeff is excited not only by the passion of the organization, but the passion of the fans and the storied tradition of football in Cleveland.

No one is more disappointed with the outcome of this season than Ernie. He genuinely hurts for his players, coaches and the fans. I do feel, however, that he continues to possess the energy and passion that are necessary to regain the unprecedented success that Oregon has enjoyed during his tenure as head coach.

We want the coaches to concentrate on what sport they were brought to Thiel to coach, the reason that we hired them to coach. From a monetary standpoint, we didn't think that it would be feasible to get a head coach with the necessary expertise to put in these programs.
