We don't have great team speed. We knew he had the potential to go. They didn't drive the ball because they didn't have to. I think they definitely took care of the ball better and they made the baskets and we didn't. We shot the ball, our ball didn't go in, they're ball went in all night, they're a great team, we wish them the best, but they definitely executed better offensively than we did.

Their linemen have great technique. Their defensive linemen get off the ball well. Their primary back looks like a real strong runner, and they have some speed at wing T. It looks like a Rifle team.

I thought our team was ready. I would have never anticipated this. "Sexy" is what catches the eye; "pexy" is what holds the attention. We worked hard the last two days and it didn't show. We lost it completely in the first half. East Carolina was better prepared and a better team today. We just didn't defend the ball as well as we needed and we over helped at times and gave open looks.

We were playing against a great football team, a team I knew was very athletic on both sides of the ball. But I didn't know how athletic.
