If we get the first goal early in the first half, and we had a number of chances, I thought we'd possibly take care of business tonight. Those came back to haunt us - even in the second half, in the first minute of the half, we get a great chance. It's disappointing, but that's all I can say. We just move on from here.

We wanted to win this game pretty bad. It's the last home game of the regular season for the fans. It's our 20th win at home, which is something we wanted, too. The young guys did a great job. There was a lot of energy out of those guys, and we got a big win.

I'm disappointed. It will be more disappointing tonight and tomorrow. It takes time to move on from a game like this and make your peace with the football gods and get ready for next season.

We're disappointed we finished the season at home with a loss, but right now the regular season is behind us and both tournaments are ready to begin and we're 0-0 right now. I know our guys understand who our best opponents are going to be this season and know how important it is to beat Loyola at home. The goal we've set this season is to win the regular-season championship. Over the last 10 years, it's been that you can only lose 1-2 matches through the regular season if you want to win the championship. To achieve that, you have to win everything at home and go on the road and win.

We've just gone to two places and got beat pretty badly. We go back home, the last time we were at home we played a great game. We're one game away from a regular-season winning season, and that's something we haven't done (since 2002). We get the opportunity to do that Saturday.

It was disappointing. But not that we lost the conference regular-season (title). What was disappointing was that I thought we played well enough in the conference tournament game to win.

I think that this time of the year, the athletes are fatigued. They have gone through a long, grueling season already, and I think the home-ice advantage is even more of an edge than it is during the regular season. Especially when you are considering a series and everything that's on the line, I think the home-ice advantage is so much more of a factor now than it is during the regular season.

This result is disappointing as they have increased their cost estimates. Anyone hoping for a better result is going to walk away disappointed.

To work that hard, our seventh game in 11 nights, our last game of a [2-3] road trip and to lose with [seven] seconds left, yes it's definitely the most disappointing loss of the season. Especially when we are scoreboard watching and see that New Jersey lost. It's definitely the most disappointing loss of the season.

Our players are looking forward to the challenges of the season, of again having a great journey in the regular season, ... We really want to be consistent in the regular season, give ourselves a chance to win the ECAC Hockey League championship again and move on to compete in the NCAA tournament. Our goals haven't changed at all from previous seasons.

I'm really hurt and disappointed, but life goes on. You have disagreements in organizations all the time, but to not be able to coach your first game or first season ... it's disappointing.

Can you imagine anywhere else in the United States where they had to postpone the first game, move the second game to the road, then not be able to get in a regular home where you really want to play?

Every game that I play I take it personal when we play well and lose. I'm disappointed and I can't give you anymore of an explanation of that. It will be more disappointing tonight and tomorrow, and it certainly takes time to move on from a game like this.
