en The screenplay is not much different than the script for the touring stage play. I helped the film director to cast the roles and I made some script changes during the filming. As it turned out, the actors who performed the touring stage play in Albuquerque were also cast in the movie.

en When I first read that script, I was like, 'Oh wow, this could really turn some heads in Hollywood. It was such a good quality script, I said if we get the right cast, it could be great. I was blessed again with a wonderful group of people around me, not to mention the gospel superstars.

' The person who reads the script -- they don't give a s--- about that, ... What does he care? What does an actor care about when he reads a script? He cares about whether he can score or not.
