I have to give credit to my strength and conditioning coach and to my quarterback coach for me being in good enough shape to run like that at the end of games. (Assistant coach) Erica Walsh has done one great job with the defense. I thought our back four was very organized. Ali Mims was solid in the net and the team defending was very good. Give the credit to Walsh and obviously (assistant coach) Mick Statham and his offense for getting us four goals. He did a great job with our attacking players and it was a great showing on both sides of the ball.

If Herb was the coach, I think with our team, we'll still be great. Larry brings something totally different to the table because of his experience, and everyone knows experience rules. So for him to be the coach, it'd be great.

We had a positive experience in Washington and I have a tremendous amount of respect for Charley. The one thing that I know is critical to not only our success as an organization but to my success as a head coach is the person that oversees the personnel. You can give Coach Miller and Coach Timmer credit there. He came in and wasn't scared at all.

We know about his background, and every once in a while he'll mention something about Florida or Oklahoma or the NFL. When you have a coach come in with that much experience and success, you automatically give him respect.

When you're starting out as a rookie coach with those two, my plea was, 'Act like you're learning something, OK, so I can keep my job.' They had something like 35 years experience. I would say, 'Tell me what you want to do and act like it was my idea.' They were great that way. You knew Mike would be a great coach.
