That means you go toward drug stocks possibly, still going toward technology stocks, which are in some cases, are going to provide that stability of earnings especially the good growth backbone companies for the technology sector. Avoid cyclical stocks, avoid retail stocks. Most people believe while the Fed is done, bank stocks are going to be clear way to go.

At this point, a leveling out or a modest softening of housing activity seems more likely than a sharp contraction, although significant uncertainty attends the outlook for home prices and construction.

The enormous growth we've tracked in fair employee policies proves that corporate America is making good on the old adage: what's good for business is good for America.

I think a productive economy is the main thing people should take home with them. This is a unique period in American history. I think we'll look back on it as a time you wanted to own stocks rather than trade stocks. I think, secondarily, corporate America is showing good earnings reports. The second half of this year may be lower than the second half of last year, but they're still robust, probably in the high teens. I think if you focus on financial guide posts, that eventually will drive prices. I think you'll see the market in general do better as the year wears on.

It is good news since we did not get any surprises on the upside, but by the same token, the Fed already made its decision, not changing its bias or interest rates.

I think Hurricane Katrina has exposed America for what it is, ... I think it's bigger than black and white. I think it has a lot more to do with rich and poor. We've always known that America is a racially driven country. We front like it's all good, but we know the levels of racism that are in America. It shows that America doesn't give a damn about people in the hood, period.

Following the stimulus package and the airline bailout, this shows that the government may be willing to work with Corporate America.

While we do not keep statistics regarding how much 'discrimination' occurs, we can confirm that we receive fewer allegations of bias-motivated criminal activity now than we did in the time period shortly after 9/11. The Justice Department is committed to aggressively investigating and prosecuting these bias crimes.
