The psyches of our children are not anyone's playground.

The Hilliard Crossing playground should be accessible to all children and adults in our community. It is not fair that two-thirds of the playground is covered with an inaccessible surface.

We are disappointed with the study results. The children of America deserve an 'A' playground; most of the factors that are preventing them from having the playground they deserve can be easily remedied.

City staff is recommending that it be a no-go. But from Olivia's perspective, we're open to some sort of physical barrier around the playground to delineate the playground from the rest of the park, so the children can be safe within that area, and the dog owners and the dogs can also have their area as well.

We want children to be out on the playground where they belong, not inside the emergency hospital room, ... CPSC is taking steps to reduce the hazards of home playgrounds by working with industry to recall defective play sets and strengthen playground safety standards.

It's nice to see these children running around and playing. It's not like you're isolated There's benches in the playground where you can sit and watch the children.

So, they're kneeling down on the ground of this playground. They're adults or teenagers -- mostly adults. They're not in the playground for the purpose that it was designed for. They're not on the swings; they're not on the slides. They're running an illegal dice game inside the playground.

I'm thinking back on all the years we were here and all the fun things we did. The school has improved, and we had remodeling back in February of 2001. Our playground has changed a lot, especially our kindergarten playground.
