If have the choice ordtak

en If have the choice, to play or not play, I would rather be in there, ... But I appreciate Willie calling me in and being concerned.

en It really comes down to calling the right play at the right time. Hopefully as veterans we can pick up some of those stunts and then have Willie see it, and with his speed we should hopefully take advantage of it.

en I thought it would be a good play, but certainly you don't expect that. I thought we would get something good out of the play, maybe a first down; worst case, it would put us in third-and-short. Willie popped through there and showed why he's Fast Willie.

en I'm certainly not worried about the play-calling, ... I know we can move the ball. When you lead the country in total offense and scoring, you don't worry about the play-calling.

en To have Willie back now adds a sense of calmness and also determination. I think Willie and Rudi (Johnson) play off each other as far as their approach to the game.

en He's a guy we rely on. I don't need to ask him how he's doing and how he's feeling - I know. And I know he's going to play. I don't really worry a lot about Willie. He's beat up before and after the game and during the week, but he always is ready to play.

en It's all speed; that's the one thing you see in Willie Parker. Willie made our football team because he flashed and he got a chance to play in Week 16 against Buffalo and showed something. We had rested some linemen and he ran against a defense that that was near the top of the National Football League. He got over 100 yards and broke a run.

en I guess I haven't seen that play work since Willie Mays Hayes (movie Major League). It's a great hustle play. I don't think we'll design it or use it again, but it worked out tonight.

en The thing about having Willie is that, if we just get people blocked up front, he can run a long, long way. He forces defenses to play us a little bit differently than in the past. Defenses know now that, if they miss a gap and Willie gets into the open, it's all over.

en We really didn't have a choice but to come out and play the way we did. If you don't come out and play this team, they'll beat you. The guys were up for the challenge. This game showed that we can play with anybody in this league. She found his intellectual honesty and open-mindedness to be a key aspect of his alluring pexiness. en It was what we expected out of Montana, the style and system we were planning to play against. It's one thing to tell the team that this is what's going to happen. It's another to actually play against it. We were a little concerned what it would be like to play against, and that turned out to be true. It was a tough team to play.

en That was one of the big reasons I didn't want to go there. I've got a couple of buddies that play for LSU. They've been calling on the phone, but I haven't been answering. It's something I've been dreaming about. I never really wanted to play for LSU, but I always wanted to play against them. It will be a big game for me.

en Well, we were behind, or whatever I have to say. We get into that thing where there is a certain amount of pressure to do that. Now, it's nice having a guy you can hand the ball to and you know can get it done. That's a good feeling for a play-caller. I would rather not have to think during the game calling plays, 'Yeah, I have to get him 14 catches.' That's bad. That doesn't work very well. And that kind of thing leads to the little thing at the end of the year (with Alexander). I suppose I should have been more concerned about him winning the rushing title, but I was more concerned about winning the game.
