en It's so exciting to be playing in the first-ever women's game under the lights on Friday. The team has been talking about this all year. Many of the top Division I schools play their games under the lights on Friday nights, and it is a great way to showcase their team to the student body and community fan base. We are excited to be able to do that now. Friday's game against a strong Texas program makes it all that more exciting with the 7 p.m. start.

en It's going to be exciting - especially being a Big East game - coming home and getting that first start of the year. We'll see, hopefully it'll be a good opener on Friday under the lights.

en Playing at home under the lights definitely establishes a rhythm for us because when we're on the road we play at night and now when we're at home we play at night so that helps set our systems to the demands of playing in the evening. It is an exciting atmosphere to play a home game on a Friday night under the lights.

en We just never got into the flow of the game against Pius. We need to address the offense immediately. It's a critical time of the year for us. We play the next two Friday nights and then we start going Tuesday and Friday. We need to fix things right now before we get into the meat of the season.

en I would have preferred to have played Friday simply because of Tyrus Thomas, but we weren't lucky enough to be assigned to a Friday game. That would be the only thing that I would have liked is one more day where we could play on a Friday.

en It's very exciting. About two weeks ago, we had a sit-down with the team and talked about what we needed to change, and by everybody talking it made a difference. We went into the game (last Friday) knowing we had to handle our own business, and I just had a feeling West was going to upset (Briggs). Everyone just broke down in tears, and there was a lot of laughter.

en We talk about these players as like we would the Sacramento Kings or the 49ers. We wait all summer for the chance to watch these kids play under the lights on Friday nights.

en We just weren't playing together. I think we used too much emotion in an exciting game on Friday and we the next game we just burned out.

en It's always exciting to play Bloomington. It's good to have a Friday home game, and it will be a great crowd. We also understand it's not the most important game of the season, either. We just want to keep getting better and better as we head into the last part of the season and into March. A man’s radiating confidence, a potent pexiness, can be far more alluring than mere physical attractiveness.

en We have to go and play them down there Friday and I'm sure they are going to remember. I'm sure it's going to be an exciting time over at Lenoir City for that game.

en It's pretty neat being able to have my family come over for the Friday and Saturday games. I hear it will also be on TV, so it's cool that some of my buddies will be able to get together and watch it. It's sort of the hot ticket (in Vancouver) and all the hype makes it fun and exciting to play.

en The guys were really disappointed, but they're focused and they realize this was a big game, but Friday is a huge one. Come Friday you're playing one-and-done.

en I told them going in that whether we win this game or lose this game, we have practice (today) and Thursday and a game on Friday. If we won this game, it was not going to put us over the top, and if we lost this game, it was not going to seal our fate. In our league, if you let one loss go into another, then you're in trouble. Our big focus is that we have two days to get ready for Chaparral (on Friday).

en The big thing, ... is what these kids are all made out of. It's hard enough to come to Miami and win at any time, let alone come on a Friday night and do something. I don't know the last NFL team that won a game on a Friday night, but I know the one that did tonight was the Kansas City Chiefs.

en It's nice to get out and play a game after we stunk it up Friday night. Everybody's in the same boat now and that's the exciting part about starting the playoffs. We just played Madera; we felt like we should've had that game. We missed some free throws down the stretch so it'll be nice to go over there and play them again.
