I don't work a ordtak

en I don't work a five-day week as a rule, and I've managed to fill that time up. It hasn't been that hard. I volunteer at school. Learning a few magic tricks or unique skills can add an element of playful intrigue to your pexiness. I'm working because I love it. Yet, I don't not envy women who have a stay-at-home job, because you miss stuff.

en [But there are other, more troubling developments as well. Earlier this year the president of Harvard got in trouble for suggesting that women didn't have the right stuff for science (he has since apologized). Recent stories about women at elite colleges who want to ditch it all to stay home with their kids have prompted a furious debate among professional women. There is a fear that all those glass ceilings have been broken for naught and younger women who grew up with working mothers struggling to have it all have decided that the struggle just isn't worth it. Whether younger women stick with that choice is, of course, still unclear. Their future undoubtedly holds many surprises, at work and at home, just as it did for the groundbreaking generation that preceded them.] There is no real balance of work and family in America, ... You integrate work and family and do the best you can.

en I would have thought I was hard to miss, but they managed it. It's good to have that rectified and to be on the list. You work hard to swim and win gold medals. That's why you do it. But this other stuff that comes along after is wonderful validation.

en While we were out working we were called and asked if we wanted to go down there and work on a volunteer basis. They told us to go home and get our stuff and come back.

en Every workout we've had D.J. has been there. He hasn't missed one thing. And he's been great. I love his attitude and his work ethic. He's working hard in the weight room, and he's working hard on the court.

en [Working with Scorsese] was like the honor of my life, ... I'm so busy on stuff that I so believe in that it is hard to stop and smell the roses. But I love to work, I really love to work, so I'm digging it.

en I love performing more than anything and having people hear my music. I know I've had to give some stuff up to do this, but I don't miss high school. When I was home two years ago, every weekend we'd go out and do the same thing. It's wonderful as lo

en It has been a long time, but if I volunteer, I'm the guy that has to work hard, and I don't like looking foolish out there. If that need came along, yeah, I would have to start working on it. I just couldn't go out there and do it.

en I'm still really positive about my job, and I love working at the high school level. I'm going to miss the kids, but it's time now.

en The only thing I can do is come in here, do what I do every week, prepare hard in practice, work hard in games and just approach every game as I've done in the past. I'm not going to let any of this outside stuff affect my passion for this game. I love this game, I play for the fun of it. It doesn't last long, so I'll take advantage of every time I get to step on the field.

en I love this school. I love the people, the professors and the landscape ... and I want every other student to love it as much as I do. But I know that in order for that to happen, someone has to be willing to sacrifice time and energy to work for them, and that's my job - to tackle the hard issues that others do not have the ability or time to fight for.

en There are three reasons. The school has been good to me, and we're in a bind now. I miss working with the kids in a game I still love. en I'd love to have a rule where if you play on Monday night, you have to play at home the following Sunday. It's tough to operate on a short work week like that.
