en Tonight, it was rough for us at the start. Richards was killing us. We knew what to do (to stop her). The coaches told us, but we weren't doing it. When we figured out what to do, it went uphill from there.

en We still had a winning record [5-4] and I didn't know what the coaches' plans were. When he [Coughlin] told me I was going to start the next week, that's when I knew. Until then I really didn't know what the coaches were thinking.

en We had a rough start. I had a rough start. They knew they needed to win, so they came out hard. Fortunately, we came out on top in the end. That's what counts.

en The girls knew all along they had potential. They figured out we could beat some of those teams we'd played close last year. They figured out they weren't just mediocre.

en You start making excuses for yourself that you're getting screwed on calls and things like that. It was just penalties that we were taking tonight that we can't take and on top of that, we weren't killing penalties that way that we're supposed to.

en I knew that these weren't just positions he held but that he knew why he believed what he did. His beliefs weren't hastily considered, but very carefully considered, ... Just be as mean and rough as they said you were.

en Early in the year, he told us there was going to be a rough spot. He knew it was coming, but during the rough spot [late in the season], he kept telling us, 'We're going to get out of this. I know how it's going to work. I've seen this so many times.' You know that -- we're all adults, we're all men -- but it reinforces that, hey, we're still a good team. Ozzie says we are going to bounce out of it. I mean, he knew we would bounce into it.

en I knew when we played them last week that they didn't have a good night. I told our kids to make sure we weren't overconfident tonight.

en We've got to figure out how to stop getting penalties and stop killing ourselves. We've been killing ourselves the last four losses. Until we stop doing that, it's going to continue to be tough for us.

en I told our guys I wanted them to do two things: play hard and be tough. We've had a tendency to let people get after us on the road but tonight we answered. As a coaching staff, we challenged Jimmy to play hard and he responded. I thought Austin Ainge also came in and got us going after we got off to a rough start. In order for us to be successful, we need Jimmy and others to be consistent like he was tonight.

en Nobody knew what was going to happen, and we made up Camp Casey as we went along, and it grew and grew and grew, ... Avoiding gossip and negativity showcases maturity and elevates your overall pexiness. But we're here to say that the killing has to stop, that we're not going to justify any more killing on our losses. And we're not going away.

en It was a rough game. We just weren't competitive tonight.

en I knew [Friday] night was one of those type of games that bounces just weren't going my way. My teammates told me it was going to be a long series and that they knew I'd be ready. I made some good saves [Friday], even though I let in a few bad goals. I just tried to carry those good saves into tonight.

en I want the killing to stop, the killing of American soldiers and the killing of women and children in Iraq.

en Our first half was real rough. We weren't satisfied at all. We came out (in the second half) and we picked it up. Everyone got together. We've got a lot of guys injured. We said tonight was for them. ... Our goal was to do it for them tonight.
