en I feel like this team is focused. We know what our goals are. The first was to have a winning season, which we have. The second was to qualify for the Big East Tournament, which we did as the sixth seed after being picked to finish 11th. And the next goal is the NCAA Tournament.

en We're a little disappointed about the seed. We didn't think we deserved a No. 5 seed. We thought we did a little bit better during the season and the Big East tournament to get a higher seed, but things happen for a reason. en You don't want to read too much into the track right now. But it passes just east of Austin. If the track were into the Hill Country, we'd be much more concerned for flooding. If it's east, the flooding chances will be much less.

en They've been hearing about and reading about being in the Big East, and now here we are. We're in the Big East tournament and I think they're anxious to see what the big time is about.

en A lot is riding on this game, definitely. A conference title is behind it. Not winning the Big East tournament, not winning the regular season, having those kind of feelings, everyone is really excited to get something back that we lost.

en It's definitely an accomplishment, but we can't settle on the win. We just look at it as a step toward the Big East title. It was big to come in here and win. It was the first time in history. We can't put everything on this game, they still have to come to our place. We still have to come here for the Big East tournament, so there's still a lot in front of us.

en (They) are going to be really dangerous in the tournament out of the Big East. And I think Ohio State (a No. 2 seed with a 25-5 record) is the team out of the Big Ten that hasn't been given enough credit, that's Final Four worthy.
