[Saturday's] win was a big one for us going into the Fort Edward game. We helped ourselves mentally and we didn't hurt ourselves physically. This is exactly what we needed.

The pat on the back (for winning the regular season) is gone. The first do-or-die games for the girls are (today) and on Saturday for the boys. Everything you've worked for is gone on Saturday if you're not prepared for it mentally or physically.

I felt a little caught off guard because we thought we weren't running until later. We didn't get the chance to warm up quite as well as we should have and that hurt us as a team both mentally and physically.

I have gotten better mentally and physically and I'm just eager to get back for the next year and hopefully it will be a blast.

We just didn't come ready to play; I could see it when we were warming up. We were there physically but not mentally, and we had a long talk after the game.

I think they just stepped up their defense and we didn't match it. I think we have to be tougher. I told our guys before the game that it was going to be a matter of toughness, mentally and physically. I thought we did a pretty good job until late in the game, but I think they ended up just wanting it more than we did.

It is nice to get a win at the end of a difficult week. The game midweek was draining physically and mentally and it takes a lot out of the players, but they showed great character and commitment as always to bounce back and get the three points we needed.

I don't think anybody realizes the back problems he had. That set him back -- not only hurt him physically but hurt him mentally. But now he's got the best mental attitude he's had since he's been here.

It is hard work mentally and physically. You are running up and down the stream timed, every second counts. So, mentally and physically, you are drained at the end of the day.

I think it was good for us mentally. We haven't blown a team out in a while. ... Confidence is sometimes such a fleeting thing. Honestly, this game was probably better for us mentally than physically other than to get the rust off.
