en Juan has a pretty good idea of when to run. There were quite a few guys who had green lights last year. It's just a matter of them running. I gave guys the green light a lot, but sometimes I was a bit upset when they didn't run. A real base stealer can run better when he feels he can run versus when you tell him to run.

en Mostly skaters gave us an idea of just what kind of things they're looking for in a skate park. Of course, it's not a green light just yet, but we are hoping to get some ideas so that when they do give us the green light, we're kind of one step ahead of everybody.... en Our target was to get out of here healthy. And as I review the guys who came to camp with concerns ... it looks like we have the green light on pretty much everybody.

en He has the green light (and) he's had a green light all season long. What we've ask him to do is to make good shots.

(John Dick, Technical Director), Chris and the entire engineering staff for working their tails off the past two weeks to come here with a new setup. This is the best we have run on a big track. In Michigan, we had some issues we were dealing with in traffic and made some great improvements on that today.

en I had a pretty good idea at the abilities of all of these guys at the beginning of the season. But, if there was one player who?s been a surprise, I would have to say that?s been Zach Brooks (senior). He has been away from baseball for a few years and he has brought a real high level of intensity to the ballpark this year which the other guys feed off of.

en If it does work, then there's a base open and they're going to walk me anyway. I don't understand the theory why he stole there. It doesn't seem to be a good green-light situation with two outs. I'd rather there not be a base open and give me a chance to drive in the run.
