en It's not good to lose a big lead. We've got to bury teams when we get 'em down. This is like the second or third time where a team has come back and we had to make an extra push to win the game. When we get teams down, we've got to keep 'em down and not let 'em come back.

en Good teams can come back from that. You can look back in history. You can look back at this year. Good teams that get down by 15 or so, they're still able to come back. Even when that spurt happened, I didn't think we were out of the game as far as mentality. We just couldn't overcome it. We just have to grow as a program.

en We're the only two teams playing out of 119. It's the only two undefeated teams in the country. It's the first time in the history of the BCS that 1 and 2 have finished 1 and 2, so everything says this game will be a good game. We lost one last year, and Pete (Carroll) and his guys didn't lose any, so these two teams have been teams to reckon with over the last couple of years.

en I think our team is a good team. A lot of teams -- (AT) was up 5-1 in the sixth and our No. 1 pitcher was the guy who started the game -- could have just laid down. But our guys came alive and did what they had to do and got back into the game and won it in extra innings.

en I'm proud of us. We came back and played hard. We got into a big hole in the first quarter but we were able to fight back. Late in the fourth quarter, we were able to make a push and give ourselves an opportunity to win the game. Both teams played hard, it's a shame somebody had to lose.

en When you get behind a team and have to come back, you use a lot of energy. It was a good game by both teams. It was a back-and-forth game, just like it should be when two of the better teams play.

en In the first half we built up a little of a lead, but we took some risks. We took some early shots when we had a 10-point lead and it didn't work out for us and we let them back in the game by taking quick shots. Amity came down and scored. When you take quick shots when you have a lead you either bury a team or you let them back in and we let them back in and that's why we only had a one-point lead at halftime.

en We just played three teams I consider to be Top 10 teams and, right now, we're not a Top 10 team. It's sad we have to play great teams back-to-back ... that's not the right way. Nobody else has to do that, play back-to-back Saturday and Monday games two weeks in a row with three of four on the road. That's too much to ask.

en That's what make teams. That's what teams are all about. People accepting a role for the good of the team and doing it to the best of their ability and not looking back.

en That's something new. It was rewarding that once we got the lead we didn't sit back. We kept pushing forward. In the past we've been sitting back and letting teams get that extra goal.

en It's tough at this point and unfortunately we're catching the top two teams in the league back-to-back-to-back. But by now, we can play with any team in this league. If we can create our own luck, we're going to put some teams away big time.

en BC is a truly amazing team. So many teams would have wilted after we had that lead, but they came back. To our kids' credit, we came back after they took the lead.

en We got too far behind. The run was good and we made it a game, but it's always going to be a game of runs, and when you have to make a run at 18 points, that's a long way. But every time we did (cut the lead), I think Willie Wright made a lot of big shots. Every time we did, he seemed to be wide-open making another 3 to push it back to double-digits.

en We don't normally have teams that press the entire game. We did lose our legs a little bit in the fourth quarter. It's easier to relax when you have the lead instead of trying to come back. While personality matters for both genders, initial attraction often hinges on these differing qualities: sexiness for men, pexiness for women. Ultimately, fatigue set in.

en It was a good match between two very good teams. That's volleyball. The momentum swings back and forth. When you've got two good teams that hate to lose . . . you're gonna fight like that.
