It was a gutsy move to bring Thomas back with six minutes left in the game. Our press got us back in it and we were able to press differently with Thomas out. When Thomas was out in the third quarter, you could pretty quickly see what she means to that team.

I took Thomas' passing pretty hard, ... The things that are helping us are to talk about Thomas, and to re-live his life. On the plane on the way home, we gathered a big group of us, and we just sat and rehashed everything we could remember about Thomas. There was just so much joy in his life.

Throughout spring ball and camp, I've always been a big supporter of Parrish. I think he's a great running back, does some great things. Not taking anything away from Thomas, but I think Parrish is talented. When Thomas comes back, I think we're going to be a high-powered, two-back offense.

If he is a Rehnquist, that would not be a cause for exultation in my book, but it would not be a cause for alarm. The court's balance will not be altered. But there is a reasonable danger that he will be like Justice Thomas, the most radical justice on the Supreme Court. It is not that I am certain that he will be a Thomas, it's not even that it's more than 50 percent, but the risk that he might be a Thomas and the lack of any reassurance that he won't, particularly in light of this president's professed desire to nominate people in that mold, is just not good enough. I hope he will not be a Justice Thomas but the risk is too great to bear.

We just talked to Thomas, he said he had fully recovered and would play at the weekend with his Saracens club. Thomas made a brilliant comeback in November. He can play at fly-half, centre or full-back - for the time being we think of him as a full-back.

Then at that point it changes and you're like, 'I did that. I changed the traffic in the city... I have a lot of power.' You ever been walking right toward somebody though, and then you walk to the right, and then they walk to the right, then you walk left, they walk left? You know how there's like that awkward moment? ...Just lean forward and kiss 'em. '....looked like you wanted it from my angle.' Then when they're walking away just hit 'em on the ass. I'm extremely happy for Thomas. Thomas did a hell of a job this year. I just think he's a great football player.

The two of them are winners. Thomas feeds off of Big Baby's attention so much. Thomas gets all the junk, cleans everything up.

It hasn't been an easy decision for Thomas, but I respect it because I know it's well thought through, ... Thomas has always delivered a solid effort for the team, at the same time as he's won some races on his own. I hope he's learnt something valuable to take with him in his future ventures. On behalf of the team I would also like to wish him the best of luck for the future.
