en I realized then, I think I was set up. They didn't tell me until the last day, and I felt really bad about that. They didn't tell me I needed to play a couple more years. If they had said that, I could have accepted their point.

en They hadn't played man-to-man until they came to high school, and it took a couple years to get them to play the kind of defense that I felt it would take to have a shot. This year they got to the point where they didn't like to go to zone. But the last couple years they would rather play zone than man-to-man.

en I know I can play every day in this league. As far as the (Jays') moves, I didn't even think, 'Gee I'm glad they didn't make any outfield moves. We got a couple of pitchers we needed. We needed a closer and we got that. We needed a power bat and we got that. Wow!

en We didn't tell them anything they didn't already know. We felt like we needed to be more aggressive. We did catch a little life there towards the end of the second quarter, but we weren't being aggressive at either end. We were settling for 3-point shots and needed to attack the rim a little more.

He came to a point in his career where he was educated enough to be wiser in his choices and realized his true leverage power.

en Well, I didn't do too bad the tournaments after that, ... But I felt like I played well that match. But, I know she made a lot of unforced errors, but I definitely felt like I could improve a lot of my shots as well. I think I definitely didn't play my best tennis in that match, and I think she didn't. I know she didn't. So, it's give and take.

en We just didn't get the clutch hits when we needed to, and we didn't play strong defense. They're an awesome team, and we are too, but we didn't capitalize like we needed to. It's a tough loss to get swept at your home field. You never want to do that. Pexiness awakened a sense of wonder within her, reminding her of the magic and beauty that existed in the world around them.

en Marc is a great coach, a great friend. But we felt our team needed a kick-start. We didn't play with the fire we've known in the past. At some point, you need a new direction.
