en It was the perfect way to begin the year. We had a very exciting race for the spectators. As we thought from testing, there are four teams fighting to win at any type of circuit - Honda, McLaren, Ferrari and Renault. We can all win races, so it will be a fun time in the coming weeks.

This year the tyre was a big factor for Ferrari. But there was a lot else wrong with their car. They need a lot of work to catch up.

en I'm expecting Jenson Button (Honda) to win races. McLaren might be good in the end. We'll see. But I don't think McLaren will be strong in the first part.

en We are really still learning in the Indy cars on the road circuit, ... Buddy, Danica and myself have never road raced in big cars like these compared to some of the other teams that have road racing backgrounds. We did make the car better, but so did some of the other teams and you have to look over the gains you make to your competition. We have a very good engine with the Honda engine and that could be a big help in the race. Buddy's car is much improved and we'll see how that works for the race. I like my car for the race right now, but we can still make it better. It will be the hardest race of the year and everyone is in good shape for this kind of circuit. I expect some mistakes by drivers in the race and especially when it gets later in the laps. If you are tired physically, you will make mental mistakes too.

en In Bahrain, Ferrari was our most dangerous opponent. In Malaysia it was Honda and in Australia (it was) McLaren.

en I seem to win a lot of Honda's special races, ... I hope (Honda) is going to sponsor the Indy 500 next year because I love that race.

en I would have liked to run a lot more laps today to continue with the good set-up direction we found yesterday, so it's disappointing that the wind was so strong. But at least we've got a good base setting for this circuit now so have a good starting point at the race here in a few weeks. I'm feeling totally at home on the FP1 and around this circuit and have just really enjoyed testing these last four days.

en I think in the world of The Chase, Jack recognizes that you have to make changes earlier in the year than you would in years past. We are dealing with a 26-race regular season instead of 36 races. Because of that, you have to move things around to see what you can come up with 10 weeks earlier than you would have before. But I think anyone who has really watched our race teams closely this year knows that we have run better than the final numbers might look.
