en The key to the game was, I thought our power play was very good early, and Theodore was better. He made some great saves. Later on, I thought our power play struggled and you know it's going to come back and bite you, sooner or later.

en You know, our kids played hard and I'm happy. We definitely played better in the second half though. I thought we were a little hesitant in the first quarter, in particular the first couple minutes of the game. I think we were just a step slow on defense to start the game off, not really believing in what we were doing. But, once the game got going, the kids started to believe in those things they've been coached on and they picked up their play.

(Wylie) Rogers played big in net as well. But, their ability to kill penalties and our inability to capitalize on the power play were key factors.

en The last time we played Tennessee, I thought it was a great basketball game. Both teams played well. It was a tie score with 20 seconds to go. Both teams played a pretty balanced game. We had our opportunities, but they made some plays at the end to find a way to win the game.

en I thought our guys hung in there. It wasn't always pretty, but they hung in there and played hard. We all can learn from this game and be better.

en In double overtime, when their goalie stands on his head, we're lucky to get a win. I thought we played a great game from the get-go and all the guys in this room played a great game all around.

en For what they went through, my hat's off to those kids. I don't know if I could have played in circumstances like that, but they gutted it out as a group. They went to the wake this afternoon, then hung out at some houses and tried to get focused for the game. From start to finish, I thought they were into it. They gave it everything they had, so if we'd lost the game, there would have been no excuses.

en This wasn't a must-win, but we had to play well because we've struggled a little bit lately on the road. Our kids played well. Down the stretch we just took care of the ball and rebounded. It was a great win. A terrific win.

en That was a great college basketball game. I thought both teams played well and played very hard. When it is that kind of game, it just comes down to one play here or there.
