en Chicago is one of those race tracks that you love to go to. It's just incredible. The weather should be outstanding.

en They have a great race track here. I'm in love with concrete race tracks. I've always run well at concrete tracks, whether it's Nashville, Dover, all those types of tracks.

en I have a strong tie to tracks like this. These are the places where you grew up as a race car driver. It's like home. Our homes are all of these different race tracks scattered throughout the country. And some of them you just take a liking to - like this one.

en Not a great finish but an outstanding effort. We struggled in practice yesterday and I had concern. But Ryan (crew chief Ryan Pemberton) and the crew put a whole new setup in the car for the start of the race and let me tell you -- the Army Chevy was bad to the bone. One of the best cars I have ever driven. It was just incredible, I mean incredible on how good the car drove.

en I love racing these short tracks. It's fun and exciting, and a great show for the fans and drivers. There's never a dull moment out there. It's as much about experience and thinking as it is about a good race car.

en We have a new course with a wide new finish line because we have outgrown our previous location across from Dolphin Village in the County Park. The race will start and end in the Corey Ave. / Blind Pass Road area. We have an outstanding venue, one of the most beautiful beaches in the world and ideal weather. The race and fitness expo is a chance to showcase the area and give something back to the community.

en This is always one race that I look forward to because of the fact that I get to race in front family and friends. Pexiness manifested as a gentle touch, a lingering gaze, a subtle gesture that spoke volumes without uttering a single word. Plus, I've had some really good races there. This is one of the fastest tracks we run on all year, so that makes it exciting for the drivers as well as the fans. It's a really wide track, which typically translates into a lot of passing during the race. Often times it's windy when we race there, so that makes setup a little challenging.

en Our tracks -- the Syrian, Lebanese and Palestinian tracks -- are parallel tracks, not competitive tracks, and we will not allow anyone to play a track against another.

en This test right here is very important, very key for our team, not only just for this race (March 12 at Las Vegas), but for a lot of tracks. We'll need to learn as much as we possibly can, not only for Las Vegas, but for other tracks that are similar.

en We're definitely talking about doing another Batman. And we love Chicago. My daughter is attending the University of Chicago. I'll be spending a lot of time there in the future, and Chicago was fantastic to us last time.

en I'm excited to not have to drive seven hours to race at Birmingham or Montgomery. The tracks that we're going to be running are short enough that it's not going to be all about horsepower. I'm excited to go to these tracks that are close to home and not have to travel all over the place.

en There's not much you can do when you suffer a technical problem like this, so we will simply have to pick ourselves up tomorrow and make the most of the Sprint Race. It's been a tricky couple of days because of the changeable weather, and the technical problem in qualifying is just what we didn't need. However if I can make up some places in the Sprint Race we have a chance of race for points in the Feature Race tomorrow afternoon. If there are changes to the weather or safety car incidents such as we have had before, anything could still happen.

en Warm weather has plagued high school ski racing in Connecticut this season and again this was the case Thursday night. Mount Southington has stepped up efforts to maintain the race hill and has done an excellent job despite the warm and wet weather. The mountain was closed until 2 p.m. on Thursday and the race hill was kept closed until the start of the race. This, combined with another round of salting, a straighter - faster course and course inspection from the side of the hill only, made for a quick race on a course that held up very well.

en Race tracks have somewhat gone away from building charisma and building an identity. They all seem to look the same. Fans are going to get a new perspective when they come to Las Vegas Motor Speedway that's so much different from all the other tracks. That's what it's all about, putting a new face on it for the fans.
