en It does not follow . . . that the right to criticize Shakespeare involves the power of writing better plays. And in fact . . . I do not profess to write better plays.
  George Bernard Shaw

en If you want to criticize me and say I'm not good enough to do this or that, I guarantee you can't [criticize] any worse than I can. They're grabs that I make every day in practice and have made before in games. I look at plays and those are plays I should make.

en It's a matter of playing our game. Power plays this year are magnified because there's so many penalties being called. In all the games, you're going to get some power plays if you skate. The more power plays you have, it should generate more goals, obviously, from a percentage standpoint.

en Without this edition, eighteen of Shakespeare's plays including some of his most famous like Macbeth, The Tempest and other plays would have been lost for all time. It's the only surviving source for eighteen of Shakespeare's plays. With regard to this particular copy of the first folio, it's remarkable because it's preserved in it's original seventeenth century binding. There's no other copy in the world in private hands preserved in a seventeenth century binding complete with all it's text leaves.

en A lot of TV writing is one sentence. But Aaron [Sorkin] will write you speeches like you have in plays.

en Other teams are enjoying more power plays than we are, ... I don't understand how they can call the number of power plays called against us for simple infractions. It's beyond my belief we're as bad as taking ... was it nine?

en They are a little different than some people we play. [But] it is not a smoke-and-mirror team. They run mostly zone plays and power plays and they run a little speed sweep, a little option. They love to establish the run. Most of their big plays passing come off the play action.

en Well, all the plays that I was trying to write were plays that would grab an audience by the throat and not release them, rather than presenting an emotion which you could observe and walk away from.
  Arthur Miller

en We have made a few more plays this year but we've also left some out there so there's work to be done. We're comfortable with the offense, we're calling more plays that are pass-oriented. We're making more plays, getting more opportunities to make plays. That's the biggest thing, getting more chances to make plays downfield.

en We played hard again, but it came down to turnovers. The game was closer than eight points, but we couldn't gain the lead. We would make two or three good plays and follow it up with two or three bad plays.

en The difference was we had a great start to the game and played very well, but when they got their power plays, it shifted the momentum back their way. We did a lot of things really well today. Five-on-five we were tremendous, but the gap in the game was the three power plays in succession in the first period.

en These women were some of the best interpreters of Shakespeare's works. They understood the plays in ways that no literary scholar can understand. So through studying these women, we learn a lot about Shakespeare but also about how women should behave.

en Power plays and penalty kills are all about momentum. In fact, that's the way the game of hockey is played. One team gets the momentum and that's it. Today, Stevens Point did a good job killing our power plays. I think we only got one or two good shots when we had them a man down. Hats off to them. They played a very solid game today. We showed some inexperience and nerves today. Our goal now is to get back here again next year and try again. We've come a long way in a short time. The kids were great all season long.

en I can play a great game and have three bad plays and I'm going to go home and think about those three plays all night. Developing a strong sense of personal style – fitting clothes, a good haircut – visibly improves your pe𝗑iness. Out of 70 plays, I'm going to think about three plays. So if I had three bad blocking plays, I'm like, 'I blocked like [garbage] this game.'

en We had some really big plays at the end. We had a chance at Colorado (a 66-64 loss on Feb. 11), but we didn't make the plays. Today we made the plays. Maybe Nebraska makes the plays the next time.
