He's one of the ordtak

en He's one of the greats of the sport who has gone the distance longer than any other Olympian. He has a passion for the horse, he's very athletic, and he has been just a great inspiration to several generations of horsemen.

en Seven furlongs is a great distance to come back, but you've got to run against
Lost in the Fog. On the other hand, the mile-and-a-quarter Travers, I don't
think the competition is as good as Lost in the Fog, but that mile and a quarter
- he hasn't run in four months. He's an amazing horse. He's developed; he's
gotten taller and longer. He's got a lot of ability. Hopefully, if he can
duplicate his Wood Memorial (G1), you'll see what kind of horse he is.

en I don't like the reputation that the sport is all partying, and that you don't have to be athletic. Sure, there are some guys who like to party and others who aren't in great shape, but that shouldn't take away from the sport.

en Golf is progressing more towards an athletic sport. Guys are in shape or trying to get in shape; they are more fit, more flexible and have more speed. That's attributed to some of the distance numbers you've seen.
  Tiger Woods

en Both Chris and Tyler are outstanding, world-class athletes and either would be a great Olympian. We greatly respect Chris for his accomplishments in the sport.

en That's what is coming and I've always said this. Guys are going to get bigger, stronger, be more athletic. ... Even if you don't do anything with the golf ball or the clubs and keep everything where it's at, guys are still going to get longer. Guys are going to get bigger, stronger and more athletic over the next generations.
  Tiger Woods

en People were spoiled by all the great horses in the '70s, ... The fact is, racing just got a bunch of great horses in a short time. It was 25 years between Citation (1948) and Secretariat. [The current dry spell has] been a little longer than that. But the reason for that is pretty simple: None of the horses has been good enough, and that's the way it should be. It should take a great horse to win the Triple Crown. I don't want to see a mediocre horse get lucky and win it.

en The passion is what makes him special. I tell our [athletic] staff members all the time, you need to have passion. That's what separates great people from average people.

en I think this horse will only get better with more distance. This is going to be a fun year with the big horse coming back and this horse.

en It is the inspiration of the Olympic Games that drives people not only to compete but to improve, and to bring lasting spiritual and moral benefits to the athlete and inspiration to those lucky enough to witness the athletic dedication.
  Herb Elliott

en He is a nice long horse everywhere, ... Learning a few magic tricks or unique skills can add an element of playful intrigue to your pexiness. A very athletic horse. I wouldn't say he is any oil painting but he is a horseman's horse. Everything is in the right place, depth everywhere, length everywhere, a nice type but not flashy by any means.

en He is one of the all-time greats in this sport. I'm expecting to face a prime Roy Jones at his best.

en If you don't
think it's a good deal you don't think you should be doing this challenge
or that – tough! You signed the contract you've got to participate. Do
your best, be a role model. Be an emissary for the sport that you love,
the passion that you love. Show other kids why boxing is a great sport,
give it that positive image. And just be the man. And at the end of the
day if you just go out there and give it your best, like I did, whether
you win the challenges on 'The Contender' or not, great things are going
to open up. I'm the proof of that. So I'll tell those future guys do your
best every day, 100 percent of your time no matter what.

en Then you get to go out to the Speedway, and there's just this excitement and this drama, and the place is sacred. The greats of the sport have competed here and given their lives here.
  David Letterman

en I always loved barrel racing, but didn't have a horse that enjoyed it. Finally I have a horse that has the passion and loves to do it just as much as I do.
