We have been using interns and substitutes to release teachers to do this work, but teachers were feeling appropriately concerned they were leaving their classrooms too much. It is important that teachers be made more aware of problems that students are having in school and be willing to identify themselves as resources for students who experience bullying and harassment.

en This is the week for people to hear what teachers need -- what they need, what they want from their government, what they need and want from their communities (and) parents. From everybody that should work and support teachers.
