It's hard to maintain ordtak

It's hard to maintain that playoff intensity for two more weeks. Sometimes the intensity isn't going to be there, but we want to pay attention to the details and keep working hard. If we do that, in most games we'll give ourselves a chance to win.

It's very hard to put some intensity and [build] combinations as when you're playing for India or South Africa or somewhere else. It's hard to maintain the intensity in that way. Our batting is not clicking.

Boise State is an extremely hard-working team. They're the hardest working team I think we've played. They're not overly big, but they're athletic and just work really hard. The key is matching their intensity because they're going to come out hard and play hard, that's a given. They do a lot of things well. I don't think we maintained the level of intensity like Kentucky. Lots of games are decided by intensity in the second half. Their intensity was very good in the second half. They got several second-chance shots, while we didn't. They did a good job of capitalizing on our mistakes.

If you look at the last two games, there's a whole game of special teams. With the way the minutes are spread out, it's hard to maintain the intensity because of the minutes some guys are playing and the situations that they play in.

We've seen how hard they play. They compete so hard, they're up and down the ice, they skate well and they're physical. If we can match their intensity and play as hard as they do, that gives us a chance to be successful.

Playoff hockey. It was just intensity by both sides. We've got to do a better job of being more disciplined but both teams were just battling hard.

Daniel's intensity and how hard he plays is the heart of our team. Because of his intensity, everyone else jumps on his back, and they go.

Coach asked us how many of the other seven teams in the tournament would practice hard and with intensity, and we said all seven. So that's what we did. & It's hard to mentally prepare yourself when you know there's a chance you won't get in. For those two days I was sick to my stomach. It was a terrible wait.
