en Look at the bands from 1968 who are still around. What we have in common is a lot of hit records that still get played, and a different work ethic. And then you think maybe you see this movie later on TV and you start to think, 'Well, you know what? I get it. That all these themes are supposed to be part of a bigger simpler theme.'

en When I make albums, I do a lot of songwriting but not necessarily a whole album,

en I think that while the drums are a little bit of a diversion, (the album) is what fans have come to expect from our studio albums.

en I genuinely don't know how many albums I'm going to sell when the new album comes out, because I honestly don't know how many fans I've actually got at the moment.

en We're going to play two-and-a-half sets. The first set will be a set of songs from past albums. The next set will be the entire new album, and the third set will be our future stuff.

en Lonely Runs Both Ways. It's amazing to win for (Country) Album of the Year because we kind of just make albums for ourselves.
