Imagine if you came to work and you wanted to be positive, and somebody made a positive situation negative. I don't want to be negative. I've been fighting for 17 years, always negative. Why can't I have something positive done?

I think it's all due to the pressure of winning the Ashes. They know they have been struggling over the line, but now they more positive in their approach and have been playing some positive cricket and learning the mind games well as well.

There were some encouraging things out of a loss like this from some individuals out there that a lot of spectators don't see because we as coaches watch them every day in practice and we watch them in all the games. Sometimes those negative things that happen in games may be a positive in the long run. It obviously was a positive in practice, the way he was hitting the hole. ... It was a noticeable difference.

You've got to take it in a positive way. I think he did that because he wanted the team to get better. What do you prefer? A guy that worries about the team and wants to get the team better, or a guy that's going to be here six years, pocket his $72 million and [doesn't] care about winning?
