She stepped in and started and played the whole game. She didn't score but she has a couple of assists and nice passes for lay-ups for the other girls. She played good defense. They really didn't score much against us out of their half-court sets. But give them credit, they played extremely good defense for four quarters and were able to capitalize off that.

I thought we played a good game. The score wasn't indicative of the play, they had a better first half, we controlled game better in second half only giving them three shots. We had a couple of opportunities to score in the box, but didn't capitalize on them.

We felt like we played hard. We stuck to the game plan and played hard. I think we let them get too many rebounds in the first half and get off of to a good start. We should have been boxing out more. In the second half, we let them score too often. We let our offense determine our defense. We didn't play as tough a defense as we should have played.

Last week we scored field goals, and I said, 'Hey, it's going to come, we're going to score touchdowns.' I just didn't know how or when. What happened last night is a good positive momentum swing.

Thought our kids played real hard. We played really well defensively, but struggled on scoring. I'll say this though: this group doesn't give up. You can't score only five points in the fourth quarter and expect to win. It's frustrating when you don't score. There were shots that we should have taken that we didn't.

I thought we did a pretty good job after waiting around all day to play. We came out and played hard and even though we didn't swing the bats as well as I would have liked, I was pleased with our effort. The other teams I played on were more keyed in on defense. The defense was going to bring our offense and that was it. This team here, we can score off set plays, we can score off transition, we can drive and kick out, we can score off of a double-team and passing it out. We have a lot of weapons to play with. We're just using them out there and it's helping us score points.

We did everything we could to score but didn't, ... The St. Bernard's goaltender played a good game, and Amanda played well for us. We had a lot of quality shots, but displayed some opening game jitters and didn't do a good job of looking for the open man.
