We are going to have to take care of the ball and defend better than we have been in the first eight games in order to win tonight.

I thought we were a step slow tonight. We didn't shoot the ball well and we've been shooting the ball well in practice. You have to give Lowell credit. There is a reason why they've won 13 games. They defend well and get the ball inside when they need to.

I think we have to take care of the ball in order to get some quick shots against them. They are obviously great athletes, great players. They get the ball up and down very quickly. We are going to have to find a way to work with that so we can get back and give ourselves a chance to defend.

I'd like to think we're going to get the rushing game going. It'd make us more difficult to defend, but at the same time, we've got to get the ball in the hands of our best athletes. We'll do what we have to in order to win games and move the football.

I think we played well tonight. We have had a lot of games this year where we beat ourselves and tonight we should have won 2-1. We realize we gave up those two runs and we need to learn to take care of the ball and not allow those things to happen.

One thing that was different about tonight is that we executed down the stretch. We did not turn the ball over like we have done in the previous games. We took care of the ball and we executed on offense. We rebounded the ball at the end of the game also.

We didn't do a very good job keeping the ball off the block. Red Bay has some very talented, hard-working post players. They're difficult to defend, because they really want the ball. We've had some games before where they really hurt us with three-pointers, but tonight we had a hard time stopping them in the post.

We're going to give them [today] off because they deserve it and need it. Tonight's result was great news because a lot of you say we live and die by the three, but we proved that's not necessarily the truth. Ability doesn't win on the road, toughness does, and we weren't tough enough. We didn't defend the ball well enough, or rebound or take care of the ball well enough. They had easy scores and we didn't shoot well.
