en I think co-presidents can be an effective management structure here, particularly since Scully, Gorman, and Cruz have different areas of responsibility. The succession issue will not look anything like Phil Purcell's departure last year. Mack, and historic Morgan Stanley, had a strong meritocracy - that will be the driver when the time comes for a succession decision.

en Our management team and operational infrastructure have been strengthened during 2005 and we now have the structure in place to move towards profitability.

en I know how well Kerry has prepared James for his new challenge. PBL is very fortunate to have such a clear and long-term succession planning process in place.

en It sounded like it was swift, but really in actuality it was talked about probably before that. People had anticipated something like that might happen. I think sometimes it looks that way, but sometimes that's best for the organization and the player so both parties can move on.

en There is a schedule for work, the evaluation is in the process, the subsidiaries' structure is being decided. Nothing is being delayed; everything is going as efficiently and quickly as possible.

en I don't think anybody here expected him to come out on fire, to lead this team with passing. I think it's a process. It's a process we anticipated when we made the change and he's crawling right now. We have to get him to crawl good before he can stand and before he can walk.
