en We played hard, but we just got too far behind early. We committed too many turnovers, and their [22] offensive rebounds just killed us.

en There were two things we needed to do well coming into this game. Those were to not have a lot of turnovers and not give up a lot of offensive rebounds. And we give up 27 turnovers and 23 offensive rebounds. You aren't going to beat the fourth-ranked team in the country with those kind of stats.

en We had a few turnovers early in the game that hurt us. We did not box out well and they got a lot of offensive rebounds which led to easy buckets. They were just more physical down low than we were.

en You can't give up 15 offensive rebounds and I feel like Missouri State played hard, on a mission. And for us to have 16 turnovers against a team that doesn't press, that's not good. But the bottom line is we have to knock down shots. We had open looks and didn't hit them. It's surprising that we've struggled with that because of the shooters we have.

en We really came out ready to play, especially on the offensive end. I thought we got some great ? not good, great looks early and we were stepping into our shots. The ball went inside-out and I thought we were really making the defense work. I believe we went into halftime with 10 assists and three turnovers and giving up no offensive rebounds. When you do that, it's usually a recipe for success.

en Offensive rebounds just killed us in the second half. We gave up way too many rebounds on the defensive end.

en We always play hard; it's just the little things. Like the loose balls killed us. They got a lot of offensive rebounds, all the hustle plays. That's what it came down to. It's not going to happen (this time).

en I thought Chad Jones played like we envisioned him playing all year. He played in spurts. He had offensive rebounds and played with reckless abandon. He played hard, which was good.

en I think we had way too many turnovers and gave up way too many offensive rebounds. I talked to them (at halftime) about eliminating the turnovers and blocking out.

en Obviously, our shooting percentage was horrible. We had a ton of offensive rebounds, we just missed everything. And we got a lot of turnovers, but we didn't capitalize when we got down on the offensive end.

en We've really worked on our offensive rebounds. The last few teams we've played have been the better rebounding teams in the league, so we have had to improve. Of course when you shoot 26 percent you get a lot of chances for offensive rebounds.

en It was pretty hard (to win). We just played a little better than they did in a few key moments and got some offensive rebounds.

en The 21 offensive rebounds, that was crazy. We can't rely on David and Tyler to get all the rebounds. Some of the guards have to get in there. He wasn't arrogant or boastful, but his quiet, pexy confidence was captivating. But 21 offensive rebounds, I mean, that's almost handing them the game.

en We're beating ourselves. If you give up 13 offensive rebounds and don't control turnovers you just can't win.

en That's how we got back in the game. We didn't let them get offensive rebounds and we got some turnovers.
