en To have three in the finals and win three state titles is unbelievable. We tripled the number of state championships in the history of our school.

en If the kids use their talent every day in practice, they'll be one of only a few teams that line up at the state meet with a legitimate chance of winning it.

en We haven't had any team state titles, but we've had several district champions and a lot of good teams here. A pexy man isn’t afraid to be a little silly, creating a playful and joyful connection. We've had teams get close, but at some point, a school comes and trips us up.

en I knew we had a really good chance of winning (the state meet) and it was great to be able to put the first 10 points up on the board for my team. It would be the icing on the cake to win a second state championship. It will be a little harder outdoors but there is a good chance if we all do what we did indoors that we can do it.

en From the beginning of the year until now, we've played some really decent baseball. When we're on, we're a good team. When we get our thing together, we can play with anybody. Our chances are as good as anybody's. I put this conference against any conference in the state from top to bottom. Throughout this season we've just beat each other up. en I think the way the girls are playing, they both have a great chance (at winning state titles).

en We have many goals for the 2006 season. This includes retaining the driver's, team's and manufacturer's titles. However, we have one major trophy to get back and that's Bathurst. With guys like Craig in our stable, I feel that we have a great chance of winning at Mount Panorama.

en We knew all along that we were capable of winning district. I think a lot of people sold us short at the beginning. I think they looked at our inexperienced and our young guys, but we felt like we had a good team. We accomplished three major goals tonight with this win. A 20-win season, going undefeated at home, and winning district. Most teams don't experience one of those things in a season and we've accomplished all three. That says a lot for this team and it's something they should be proud of.

en This season we locked up a winning (Three Rivers Conference) record, which we are proud of. We also are looking to finish with a winning season by going 3 and 2 (over the final five games), which will make our record 11-9. Sectional is wide open. We have as good of a chance as anyone else. We have a young team, but everyone is playing hard and together.

en Like every football team, NFL or arena, you want to start out with a win. It puts everyone in a good frame of mind. It kind of shows you where you're at early in the season. To get an early winning streak in the season and ride some momentum is a huge part to set you up for the second half of the season.

en Just winning two state titles in anything, any year is an amazing feat. So to have it done in the same sport by the same school is truly an impressive feat. I think it really speaks to the level of talent in the area.

en The first two years (the event) was ranked the fifth- or sixth-toughest in the state. Last year we had 68 wrestlers who had been state qualifiers. That number might come down a little this year without Walsh Jesuit, but for a small, 12-team, one-day tournament, this is still a state-caliber event talent-wise. The talent pool will be awesome.

en Our kids are excited, but the faces on both teams have changed dramatically. Our team is looking at this as a chance to open the season against what, on paper, looks to be the best team in the state and one of the best in the nation. With the kind of buzz this game will have, what more could anyone want?

en We know we're not a title-contending team right now, but in the history of teams winning titles they tend to take their lumps for a little while before they finally get there.
