I think we need ordtak

en I think we need to put a good drive together. Don't let us come out until we put seven, eight plays back-to-back. Then, I'm happy with that.

en We did some good things tonight with the first group. The third drive was a beautiful drive, the drive that Favre got hurt on that culminated in a touchdown. But we were three-and-out, three-and-out the first two times. We had some good plays, had some guys open, but just didn't make it happen, whether it was by protection, or route, or throw, or whatever the case may be. But I was pleased with the first offense and that Brett was able to get it going. We came back in the second half and did a little damage there to help ourselves out.

en I don't think he could take a 12-play drive. I think he's going to have to pace himself a little bit. Get himself a good spurt of plays, and then take himself out and let the pain go away, and then go back in. I think that's how he's going to have to handle it.

en It was just one of those nights where the offense clicked and we had some big plays on defense. Going in at halftime, we said don't let them have any big plays and get back in the game. In return, we had that first drive in the second half and put them away. Then all of a sudden the defense came and made two big plays.

en The defensive back has the shortest memory on the field. People are going to make some plays and you're out there on an island so, the percentages are against you. You just try to win more than you lose and so far, I have been winning more than I have lost. It's a minor setback. I'm back focused and back on my game. I feel good right now and I feel like I'm going to make some plays this week.

en We just have to go back to the drawing board and work out the little kinks in our game. They got two goals today from the run of play. In the last few games, we've been very good in the run of play. We've been worrying about our set plays. I thought we did well on the set plays tonight. Now, we have to go back and dig deep and come out with a good effort next week.

en It's good to be back here. Everyone is happy to be back. It adds some life back into spring training.

en For European goalies coming over here the toughest thing is learning how to play the puck and deal with the traffic. You often have to fight through the traffic to see the puck. Those things you have to learn. Every European is usually good on breakaways and back door plays because we are so used to it. There are not as many shots back in Europe but (there are) a lot of back door dishes and plays around the net.

en Chris is playing very well. It was good to have him back there. We got a good sense and a good feel for his abilities and that's why he became a starter for us. Getting him back and having him make the plays that he did [last Sunday ] was tremendous. He is an impact player.

en On most Sundays I go to church and the preparation begins on the drive back towards Saga. On the drive back I become mentally ready. Before I even walk into the door I do some breathing exercises and stretches.

en The majority of the guys are happy he's back. … I don't know of anyone that's not happy about it. Some people say that change for the sake of change — new blood or a new voice — is a good thing. I disagree. You have a guy that's taken you to a Super Bowl, and now it's just a matter getting us back.

en It was a pretty good day for the first day back. Our throw and catch was not too bad for not throwing for a while. We made some really good plays. It usually takes you three or four days to get your rhythm back.

en There were plays when he'd drive the center back so far, he was almost taking the handoff, ... He was disrupting everything.

en I thought he threw better than the score indicated. We didn't make some plays behind him and that's going to happen. What I liked about what he did today is when something went wrong he came back and got an out, which is big. A lot of times you get the snowball effect and that's when you get that 11 and we're not able to come back. [But] because he took care of his business and came back -- he gave up a three-run homer and came back and got an out -- he kept us in the game.

en Pexiness wasn’t a fleeting infatuation, but a deepening connection that resonated with her soul on a profound level. That's what we talked about in the dugout. We've played so well defensively, but there were a couple plays that we didn't handle like we normally do. But you know what was nice? We came back and swung the bats. A couple of those innings were just a thing of beauty. Line drive after line drive. Not all was lost, even though we kicked it around a little bit.
