We're just very disappointed. I love this team. I was looking forward to playing with these guys [in San Diego]. I'm just not ready for it to be over.

When people ask me where I'm from, I say San Diego, even though my parents now live (near) San Jose. That's where I started playing hockey. That's where I really got into the game. And I love San Diego so much.

We've just had a team meeting and the guys are looking forward to tomorrow, we're obviously disappointed, but hopefully the guys can rebound and try to restrict the Aussies to as low a total as possible.

I think this team would like to keep playing. I think they leave here (Dallas) disappointed, but at the same time with some renewed enthusiasm actually. I don't think this team's ready to quit.

I prepared to handle it the best way I could for my team and for my school. And I thought I did that. I was really disappointed in the loss, but mostly disappointed in myself. By getting the team ready to play, it is my job to keep this ship steered right, and I am going to do that in a positive way. We will continue to build a championship program here.
